Members of the bar, bench, and public are hereby notified by the District of Columbia Judicial Nomination Commission (the “Commission”) that two vacancies on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia will occur as a result of the retirements of Judges John H. Bayly Jr., effective April 22, 2011, and Stephanie Duncan-Peters, effective May 3, 2011. Within 60 days of each vacancy, the Commission shall submit to the President of the United States the names of three persons for possible nomination and appointment to the Court. DC Code § 1-204.34. Accordingly, the Commission invites qualified individuals to apply for these vacancies.
