Dorsey G. Jones, II was born in Washington, DC. He was raised in Silver Spring, Maryland and graduated from Springbrook High School. In 1986, Jones graduated from the School of Business at Howard University with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. In 1993, he graduated from Georgetown University Law Center. Jones has passed both the Certified Public Accountant and Bar examinations. He has been self-employed since June 1994 and specializes in criminal defense.
