Jacqueline M. Ivey

Jacqueline M. Ivey, Esq., is an Assistant General Counsel with the United States Government Publishing Office. From 2014 until 2017, she was an Administrative Judge with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in Washington, DC.

Ms. Ivey’s previous employment also includes serving as an attorney with the Board of Veterans Appeals, where she wrote tentative decisions for Veterans Law Judges. From 2005 until 2014, she was a trial attorney representing various federal agencies before the EEOC and the Merit Systems Protection Board.

Ms. Ivey’s commitment to public service in not limited to her vocation but also includes community service with several non-profit organizations. She serves on the Trustee Board and on the Board of Directors for a non-profit organization that is committed to helping people experiencing challenges in their lives.

Ms. Ivey is a graduate of the American University Washington College of Law in Washington, DC, where she earned a Juris Doctor degree, and Denison University in Granville, Ohio, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. She is a native Washingtonian and a graduate of Duke Ellington Schools of Arts, in Washington, DC, where she majored in music.
