Jeffrey A. Wojcik, Esq.

Jeffrey A. Wojcik, Esq., currently serves as Deputy Chief of the Superior Court Division at the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia (“USAO-DC”), where he oversees the hundreds of Assistant United States Attorneys and support staff who prosecute most criminal cases brought in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia (“Superior Court”). 

Before his current role with the USAO-DC, Mr. Wojcik served as Chief of the Early Case Assessment Section, overseeing the initial screening of arrests and warrants submitted by law enforcement officers in the District of Columbia. He also supervised other sections of the Superior Court Division, including serving as a Deputy Chief in the Misdemeanor, Felony Trial, and Case Initiation Units of the General Crimes Section. As an Assistant United States Attorney, Mr. Wojcik investigated and tried Superior Court cases ranging from assaults to homicides. Before joining the USAO-DC, he served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office Appeals Division.

Mr. Wojcik has received numerous Special Act Awards, as well as the 2021 United States Attorney’s Award for Creativity and Innovation; the 2024 J. Patricia Smoot Award for leadership, inclusion, and a passion for the ethical pursuit of justice; and the 2025 United States Attorney General’s Award for Excellence in Technology or Privacy. 

Mr. Wojcik earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, with high honors, from the University of Michigan and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from American University’s Washington College of Law.
