Stefan Wolfe

Stefan Wolfe, Esq., serves as General Counsel for the National Commission on Military Aviation Safety and the Cyberspace Solarium Commission.  Mr. Wolfe recently left the Army Court of Criminal Appeals where he had served as an Associate Appellate Judge and Senior Appellate Judge. In that role, he was responsible for deciding the appeals of Army felony cases, interlocutory appeals, and extraordinary writs. He has issued over 100 written opinions.

Mr. Wolfe's previous experience includes serving as a trial judge for the US Army, where he presided over criminal cases arising out of the Pacific Northwest, Alaska, and Hawaii. Prior to becoming a judge he served as the Deputy and Acting Chief Prosecutor for the Army.

Mr. Wolfe is a disabled veteran who has dedicated his life to public service. He and his family first moved to the District of Columbia in 2004. While military assignments occasionally took him away from the District of Columbia, he and his family have become committed citizens of the District.

Mr. Wolfe graduated first in his class from Rutgers Law School in 2004. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Wolfe served as an Army Aviator, flying reconnaissance missions in Germany and Kosovo. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy (West Point).
