Hon. Pavan S. Krishnamurthy is an Administrative Law Judge with the District of Columbia Office of Administrative Hearings, which adjudicates cases from over 40 agencies, boards, and commissions. He presides over contested hearings and issues decisions appealable to the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.

Before his current role, Judge Krishnamurthy served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia. He also served on active duty as a judge advocate general in the United States Air Force, where he was awarded the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, and Joint Service Achievement Medal. While on active duty, Judge Krishnamurthy was detailed as a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Maryland. He continues to serve in the United States Air Force Reserve.

Judge Krishnamurthy began his legal career as an associate at Sidley Austin LLP, where he received the Vincent F. Prada Award in recognition of his outstanding pro bono service. In 2025, the American Bar Association recognized Judge Krishnamurthy as one of the top 40 young lawyers in America.

Judge Krishnamurthy received his Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University and Master of Science, with distinction, from the London School of Economics. He received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, where he served as an articles editor for the Georgetown Law Journal.
