The District of Columbia Judicial Nomination Commission is pleased to announce the reappointment of three Commissioners.

The District of Columbia Judicial Nomination Commission is pleased to announce the reappointment of three Commissioners.

Mr. William Lucy was reappointed on December 23, 2011, for a term to end February 27, 2014. Mr. Lucy was the International Secretary-Treasurer of the 1.4 million-member American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Union (AFSCME) until he retired last year. He continues to serve as Vice President, AFL-CIO.

Natalie O. Ludaway, Esquire was reappointed on December 23, 2011, for a term to end February 27, 2016. Ms. Ludaway is the managing member of the law firm Leftwich & Ludaway, LLC.

Reverend Morris L. Shearin Sr. was reappointed on December 1, 2011, for a term to end April 7, 2017. Reverend Shearin is the Pastor of the Israel Baptist Church, located in Southeast Washington.

Mr. Lucy and Ms. Ludaway were reappointed by Mayor Vincent C. Gray. Reverend Shearin was reappointed by the Council of the District of Columbia.
