Nine Persons Recommended for Superior Court Vacancies Created by the Resignation of Judge James E. Boasberg and the Retirements of Judges John H. Bayly Jr. and Stephanie Duncan-Peters

The President has 60 days to select a nominee to fill each vacancy.

The District of Columbia Judicial Nomination Commission (“Commission”) has forwarded to President Barack Obama the names of nine lawyers for his consideration in selecting nominees to fill three judicial vacancies on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. The President has sixty (60) days to select a nominee to fill each vacancy created by the resignation of Judge James E. Boasberg and the retirements of Judges John H. Bayly Jr. and Stephanie Duncan‐Peters.
